For a period of six weeks, I monitored and registered all my adulterations of truth, writing them down on a notebook. |
The blue velvet soft cover notebook is 12 x 8 cm (4.7x3.1"), and has 20 sheets of recycled paper. |
Each lie was documented through a brief description, place (if relevant), date and time of the day. Different kinds of lies were registered: omission, exageration, fabrication, ... |
The first registered lie dates from February 21th, at 11h50; the last one dates from March 19th 2011, at 19h34. At the end of the monitoring and registering period, I dismantled the notebook. |
Having no further use to the written data, I ripped down the sheets. |
I then turned the ripped sheets into paper mache. |
Out of the paper mache block I carved two 19mm (3/4") edge cubes. |
I then turned the two cubes into a set of dices. |
Both dices are bias, since the first one has a recurrent tendency to number 4, and the second one to number 6. |
